On Fridaythe 25th of January Awake LOVE Orchestra performs at Kulturhuset Ytterjärna for the yearly Waldorf teacher meeting and on Friday the 1st at 20:00 at Västerås Waldorf School. Alexandra Berry who also did the latest design for our acclaimed AWAKE performance has made a beautiful design to fit our poster made by Emma Löfström. The idea is that we all come from the LOVE planet! Come and enjoy new songs and see if you agree with Vyara Popova who came to see us last spring: “A completely mind-blowing, heart-rocketing and transcending experience, which for me transcends cultural difference and brings people in sync with love. It’s all about experiencing, connectedness unity and beauty.”

Burning Winter Love combines captivating worldmusic with magnificent firejuggling creating something never seen before. A colourful and powerful performance where warmth and a loving feeling is the theme itself. Fire has never been hotter!
The show is performed in an old locomotive depot just by the trainstation in Västerås. A huge and beautiful industrial space with high red brick walls creates an enormous frame for this unique Västerås production. The success from last year has been elevated and intensified.

Thursday night 11th of October at 8pm a work-in-progress sharing of the production of “To Live, Darling” will be held at Art/Works Theatre, in Hollywood. It is a culmination of a long standing collaboration between writer Ilana Turner and Awake Project director Christopher Sivertsen. Co-produced by viaCorpora. The Réjane Project has spawned “To Live, My Darling,” a show about the Belle Époque comedienne Réjane, for whom life equalled art. Says Rico Gagliano of the Dinner Party Download, “I saw scenes from ‘To Live, Darling’ at a showcase of new work, and was struck by its humor, intelligence and style — kind of Howard Hawkes meets Moulin Rouge.”
